Ich will Designerin werden is a critical reflection on the role and identity of design students at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd.

The project draws on conversations with alumni who have pursued diverse careers across the design field, exploring what defines the institution and how design education continues to evolve. Rather than teaching a singular approach to design, it highlights the importance of adaptable thinking, critical reflection, and problem-solving.

By examining different professional trajectories, the project encourages students to position themselves within an ever-changing design landscape and develop their own understanding of what it means to be a designer.
