The Archaeological House – Petri explores a contemporary exhibition format that makes archaeological processes visible and accessible to the public.
I contributed to the development of exhibit arrangements and the spatial positioning of selected showcases. Based on the concept of an open archaeology lab, the exhibition allows visitors to follow the journey of artifacts from excavation and restoration to presentation.
Through scenography, modular display systems, and interactive formats, the exhibition creates a dynamic narrative that presents archaeology as an active and ongoing practice. The project connects research, exhibition, and visitor experience, transforming observation into an exploratory process.
Petri has been finished and opened to the public June 2025.
